Job description

What you will be doing

* Collaborate and work with project managers, construction crews, and government agencies, when necessary.
* Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure survey objectives are met.
* Use specialized equipment, including distance measuring wheels, GPS and geographic information system (GIS) devices to measure boundaries and contours.
* Travel to sites as required.
* Research and consult historical maps and surveys, as well as legal documents, relating to the property or section of land to be measured.
* Stay updated with new surveying technology and industry developments.
* Analyze data using plans, maps, charts, and software such as AutoCAD and GIS programs.
* Perform mathematical calculations to determine and confirm surveying measurements.
* Marking and delineating boundaries and reference points on a property or section of land.
* Present data to clients and preparing reports detailing legal boundaries and other relevant information.
* Take measurements of distances and angles on a property or section of land in order to establish legal boundaries.
* Ensure all survey activities comply with regulations and codes.
* Create maps, diagrams, and reports detailing survey results.

Required Experience

* Over 7 years or as required by related supervision agreement.
* Experience working for an Engineering Consultancy. 


Education

* Diploma in surveying, geomatics, geospatial sciences, geophysics, or a related field.



Certifications & Memberships

* Kuwait Society of Engineers (KSE) Membership or Any local Engineer's society membership (for hiring outside Kuwait).

* Ability to organise and plan work.
