1. Provides daily operational support within assigned work group to facilitate the timely and accurate accomplishment of accounting work.
2. Performs complex accounting duties in the preparation of financial documents, records, apportionments, and reports, assists in the year-end closing process or budgeting forecast process; reviews and reconciles cash and account balances; assists in the development of new procedures as needed.
3. Assists with compiling and developing budgets; performs complex calculations for the company revenue projections; consults with appropriate personnel regarding budget needs and prepares necessary budget transfers and revisions; monitors expenditures and income related to budgets to assure availability of funds.
4. With regards to client support/communication he will responsible to provides assistance and training to internal and external customers; interprets, applies and recommends financial policies, laws, regulations and procedures, provides customer information in both oral and written form; resolves problems and complaints and refers clients to appropriate resources as necessary.
5. Analyzes work flow to enhance operating efficiency within assigned scope of authority; schedules, monitors and controls daily work flow to produce optimum results and he will also produces and analyzes various reports of a financial nature that require the selection and interpretation of data.
6. Conduct analysis of assigned accounting functions, provide procedural revisions and communicate changes in procedures to staff.
Assists with the coordination, development and implementation of accounting procedures, standards and operational controls for the assigned accounting unit; may research and draft new/revised procedures and related materials for approval of higher level authority; understands linkages between systems/departments and ensures that they are taken into consideration as appropriate
Good oral & written communication skills.
Ability to guide and direct staff, problem solve, multi-task, prioritize and communicate effectively, research, analyze and retrieve financial data to prepare accurate reports; interpret, explain and comply with prescribed laws, rules, regulations, and procedures; monitor, audit, reconcile, and balance a variety of budgets, financial data and transactions; maintain complex records; perform mathematical computations quickly and accurately; identify and correct errors in a variety of documents; operate a variety of standard office equipment.
