Job description

Duties and Essential Job Functions

Management:

  1. Provide a focus and a sense of direction to the e-com employees and management.
  2. Ensure enforcement and adaptation of corporate values and vision.
  3. Establish and carry out the e-com’s goals, policies, and procedures.
  4. Manage general activities related to providing the organizational services.
  5. Consult with other executives, staff, and team members about general operations and administrative activities.
  6. Direct and manage the e-com’s financial and budgetary activities.
  7. Analyze financial statements, reports, and other performance indicators and provide the necessary feedback and recommendations.
  8. Identify areas of raising efficiency and effectiveness and to improve performance, policies, and programs.
  9. Monitor control and approve capital and non-capital expenditures and audit effectiveness.
  10. Endeavor to develop and succeed in maintaining appropriate company image that strives towards excellence in satisfying customers.
  11. Develop quantified M.B.O. plans for the direct subordinates and ensure that the process propagates through all levels.
  12. To maintain viable and healthy relations with strategic accounts, business partners, official entities, financial institutions, and government bodies.

Technical:

  1. Developing and implementing e-commerce strategies aligned with company goals.
  2. Managing and optimizing online sales channels, such as websites, social media, and online marketplaces.
  3. Creating and managing e-commerce budgets, including advertising and promotion spending.
  4. Analyzing e-commerce data and metrics to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, sales, SCM, brands, and product development, to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels.
  6. Staying up to date with trends and innovations in e-commerce and making recommendations for improvement.
  7. Manage product listings, descriptions, and pricing in the online store.
  8. Ensure regular updates to product information, images, and descriptions to ensure accuracy, appeal, and consistency.
  9. Plan and execute seasonal and promotional campaigns to increase sales and boost customer engagement.
  10. Analyze customer behavior and trends to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
  11. Monitor website functionality and handle troubleshooting issues with the e-commerce platform, including technical problems and user experience challenges.
  12. Coordinate with logistics and fulfilment teams to ensure timely and accurate order processing and delivery.
  13. Collaborate with customer service teams to ensure seamless customer services, high customer satisfaction, and resolve issues quickly through the online store.
  14. Manage relationships with third-party vendors and platforms.
  15. Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in e-commerce and digital marketing.
