Job description

  • We are looking for a skilled Electrical Draftsman with proven experience in developing control and wiring diagrams for LV and MV switchgear systems. The candidate must be proficient in EPLAN and familiar with electrical symbols, circuit logic, and interlocking used in industrial control systems.


🔧 Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and terminal layouts using EPLAN Electric P8.
  • Draft control circuit diagrams, interlock logic, and power distribution drawings for LV and MV switchgear panels.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with IEC / ANSI / customer-specific standards.
  • Work closely with electrical design engineers to implement panel designs accurately.
  • Maintain proper drawing documentation, version control, and bill of materials (BOMs).
  • Revise and update existing designs as per client feedback or engineering changes.
  • Provide support to the panel assembly and testing teams for clarification of drawings.
  • Participate in quality checks and ensure drawing accuracy before submission or production.


Skills

✅ Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in switchgear manufacturing or panel building companies.
  • Knowledge of EPLAN macros, templates, and device configuration libraries.
  • Exposure to utility or oil & gas control system designs.
  • Strong attention to detail and good documentation habits.
  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
