We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join our construction project team in Kuwait. The candidate will be responsible for contract administration, commercial coordination, claims management, subcontract management, and contractual risk control throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and administer main contracts, subcontracts, and related commercial documents.
• Review, draft, and amend contractual correspondence, notices, claims, variations, and contractual submissions.
• Support the project team in identifying contractual risks and proposing mitigation measures.
• Coordinate with project management, commercial, legal, procurement, and finance teams on contract-related matters.
• Prepare and review claims, extension of time submissions, variation orders, and contract close-out documents.
• Monitor contractual obligations, deadlines, deliverables, and compliance requirements.
• Participate in negotiations with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Provide contractual advice to the project team and support dispute resolution when required.
• Maintain proper records of all contract documents, correspondence, approvals, and claims files.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Law, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in contract management within the construction industry.
• Experience in infrastructure, building, EPC, wastewater treatment, or large-scale construction projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and construction contract administration.
• Good experience in claims, variations, EOT, subcontract management, and contractual correspondence.
• Strong negotiation, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle complex contractual issues independently.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• GCC or Middle East project experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and contract/document management systems.
