Roles & Responsibilities

 

  • Prepare, review, and administer contracts, subcontracts, and service agreements in compliance with company and client requirements.
  • Ensure all contractual documents (scope, terms, conditions, pricing schedules, specifications) are accurate and aligned with project execution plans.
  • Support drafting of contract amendments, variations, and change orders.
  • Prepare tender documents, RFQs, RFPs, and scope of work packages for subcontractors and vendors.
  • Support negotiations to finalize subcontractor agreements and procurement packages.
  • Identify potential claims, scope deviations, and change requests from engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
  • Prepare and evaluate claims, change orders, and time extension requests (EOT).
  • Maintain a change management log to track and document scope modifications.
  • Track variations, deliverables, and the fulfilment of contractual requirements.
  • Identify contractual risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Participate in project risk assessments, highlighting commercial and contractual exposures.
  • Support cost control teams in tracking budgets, commitments, cash flow, and forecasted expenditures.
  • Support commercial reporting including commitments, trends, and contract change impacts.
  • Interface with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to resolve contract-related issues.
  • Participate in coordination meetings, kick-off sessions, and negotiation discussions.
  • Ensure contracts comply with company policies, project requirements, local regulations, and international contracting standards (FIDIC, NEC, API, etc., depending on project).
  • Coordinate with legal teams for interpretation of complex contractual clauses or disputes.
  • Provide contractual insight during project reviews, progress meetings, and monthly reporting.
