Cashier

We are looking for a polished, personable, and professionally presented male cashier to be the first and last impression our clients experience. You will manage the front desk, handle transactions, coordinate bookings, and ensure every client is welcomed and attended to with warmth and efficiency. This role is central to the smooth daily operation of our salon and the quality of our client experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet and receive clients in a professional and friendly manner upon arrival and departure
• Manage client appointments using the salon's booking and scheduling software
• Process payments accurately via cash, card, and digital payment methods (POS systems)
• Answer incoming phone calls, respond to inquiries, and confirm or reschedule appointments
• Maintain an organised and tidy front desk and reception area at all times
• Coordinate with barbers and stylists regarding client flow, wait times, and scheduling
• Handle client complaints or concerns calmly and escalate when necessary
• Manage daily opening and closing cash reconciliation
• Track retail product sales and assist clients with product recommendations
• Maintain client records and contact information in the system
