The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating all inbound & outbound activities within the warehouse, including the intake of feed grains, spare parts, and fuel.
This role ensures accurate verification, documentation, storage, and tracking of all incoming goods, while maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.
The supervisor leads a team of inbound & outbound staff and collaborates closely with procurement, maintenance, and production departments to ensure operational efficiency
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervision of Inbound & outbound
•Oversee the receipt of all inbound shipments including grains, spare parts, and fuel.
•Ensure all deliveries are inspected for accuracy, quantity, and compliance with specifications.
•Assign tasks to receiving staff and monitor performance to ensure timelines and standards are met.
•Ensure all outbound shipments match delivery orders and meet quality and quantity specifications.
2. Documentation & Invoice Verification
•Supervise the verification of delivery documents such as invoices, bills of lading, and packing lists or delivery notes.
•Approve and report discrepancies or damaged goods to procurement and finance for resolution.
3. Storage & Inventory Management
•Ensure proper handling and storage of materials in accordance with safety and preservation standards.
•Maintain accurate inventory levels through timely system updates and physical verification.
•Implement organization and labeling systems for easy identification and retrieval of items.
4. Fuel Handling Oversight
•Supervise the safe receipt, measurement, and storage of diesel and gasoline.
•Ensure fuel inventory records are accurate and up to date in compliance with safety regulations.
5. Coordination with Internal Departments
•Work closely with maintenance, production, and procurement teams to fulfill material requirements.
•Prioritize internal material requests and coordinate the timely release of stock
