About the job
As a  UI/UX Designer at Aspire, you will lead the end-to-end design of mobile banking applications, from research and concept ideation to high-fidelity design and delivery. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and QA teams to create user-centric, visually appealing, and technically feasible solutions. In this role, you should have a strong eye for detail, a passion for fintech design, and the ability to turn insights into intuitive digital experiences.

What you’ll do
  • Lead the end-to-end design process for digital banking mobile applications.


  • Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.


  • Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI mockups that clearly illustrate functionality and user interaction.


  • Develop and maintain design systems to ensure consistency across mobile and web platforms.


  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and QA teams to deliver aesthetically pleasing and technically feasible designs.


  • Apply UX best practices and data-driven insights to continuously improve user experience and app performance.


  • Stay current with mobile design trends, fintech UX standards, and emerging technologies in digital banking.


  • Mentor junior designers and contribute to a culture of creativity and innovation within the design team.


What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.


  •  3+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design, with at least 3 years in mobile app design.


  • Proven experience designing for digital banking, fintech, or financial services platforms.


  • Strong proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design tools.


  • Solid understanding of UX research methods, information architecture, and interaction design principles.


  • Strong visual design skills with attention to typography, color, and layout.


  • Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating closely with development teams.


  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions clearly.


  • A portfolio demonstrating mobile banking or fintech-related design projects is required.


  • Awareness or knowledge of IT security best practices as defined by ISO/SOC or similar.
