A newly launching logistics & freight forwarding company is looking for a driven, reliable, and experienced Sales & Operations Executive to help us grow from the ground up. You will be responsible for both generating business and executing it, from prospecting clients to managing shipments until final delivery.
There are no clients yet, no team yet, no set structure. Just an experienced & reputable founder.
We're looking for someone who will:
· Go out and bring in business
· Manage that business start to finish... including quoting, booking, tracking, delivery
· Work directly with the founder, not beneath layers of management
· Be fully responsible for their own clients and shipmentsHandle mistakes, pressure, and growth — fast
· Keep reading if that excites you, not scares you.This is a hybrid role — part sales, part operations — and ideal for someone who is proactive, organized, and likes challenges.
· Work is a remote based, with sales field visits for clients.
Job Responsibilities:
· Visit potential clients
· Make cold calls and conduct basic market research
· Gather client requirements and send quotations
· Follow up on leads, negotiate rates, and help close deals
· Prepare and maintain a client database
· Coordinate transport bookings (trucks, containers, warehouses)
· Communicate with vendors, drivers, and partners
· Track shipments and report status to clients
· Ensure proper documentation (POs, invoices, PODs, customs docs)
· Follow up on delivery confirmations and issue resolution
