About the Job:
The Operations Control Center – Control Coordinator supports the Duty Manager in coordinating daily flight operations by monitoring operational activities, maintaining communication between the OCC and aircraft, and ensuring all required clearances and operational updates are managed to support safe and on-time operations.
Job Description
· Assist duty manager in the execution of the operating plan and ensure that the departments concerned are well informed on all changes.
· Maintain the daily checklist for load study, daily follow up on clearances, Airport restrictions and weather at destinations.
· Ensure that all relevant clearances are obtained for ad-hoc or non-routine services.
· Maintain close communication and coordination between all departments involved for the support of operational system.
· Supply constant communication services between the OCC and the Aircraft in accordance with OCC Manual.
· Relay all In-Flight technical defect messages promptly to Line Maintenance.
· Monitor efficiently and properly the Radio console operations and keep duty manager informed of all A/C radio contacts that would directly affect flights punctuality and aircraft rotation.
· Monitor all inbound traffic weather requests by operating crew through Fleet Watch and ACARS and keep them updated on any relevant deteriorating weather conditions at destination and alternates.
· Follow up with load control to ascertain that a signed load sheet is sent to the aircraft.
