Role overview We are seeking an experienced HR Operations Analyst to manage day‑to‑day transactional delivery of HR programs in Jordan. The successful candidate will maintain accurate employee records in the HR system of record, resolve basic absence‑management issues, validate and process monetary transactions in compliance with policy and local law, and partner with internal stakeholders and third‑party vendors to ensure seamless service delivery.
This position will be based in Amman.
Key responsibilities
- Execute and manage transactional HR processes, applying company policies to determine eligibility and next steps.
- Analyze and resolve absence‑management system issues by researching time entries and historical data; determine and apply corrections in line with OpCo‑specific policies.
- Update and maintain the HR system of record with complete and accurate employee information; provide employee data/history for statutory and government requests.
- Verify appropriate approvals for monetary transactions and review colleagues’ transactions for accuracy and compliance.
- Review documentation supporting program‑related payments to ensure compliance with company policy, regulations, and local law.
- Retrieve, upload and manage employee records and supporting documentation for HR programs administered by the HR Service Centre.
- Provide timely, clear communications to colleagues, managers, HR Business Partners/Generalists, and peers.
- Liaise with third‑party providers (e.g., payroll, legal advisors) and internal teams to resolve operational issues.
Candidate profile
- Jordanian national, based in Jordan (mandatory), also supporting other countries in the Region as UAE and KSA.
- 3–5 years’ experience in HR operations, HR service center, payroll support, or similar transactional HR role.
- University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Fluency in Arabic and English (verbal and written), is a must.
- Hands‑on experience with HRIS/ATS and absence‑management systems; strong data‑entry and record‑keeping accuracy, Workday experience / Shared Service experience is a plus
- Demonstrable knowledge of payroll and finance processes; ability to validate monetary approvals and transactions.
- Strong understanding of local employment legislation and statutory requirements; ability to manage legal/administrative HR tasks.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills; high attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Experience in multinational or international organizations and/or candidates with dual citizenship will be considered a strong advantage.
