Ensure the overall smooth operation of all Hotel Food & Beverage outlets (including restaurants, lounges, and beverage service areas).
Ensure the delivery of excellent service by maintaining high staff morale and strong team spirit.
Ensure effective scheduling of the Hotel Food & Beverage team, including reporting hours worked to the Food & Beverage Coordinator and inputting schedules into system.
Provide motivation and ongoing support to all team members.
Coordinate Food & Beverage requirements for hotel events and functions.
Ensure accurate Food & Beverage billing for groups and guests.
Participate in the training and coaching of new and existing team members.
Participate in the Manager on Duty Program for the hotel restaurants.
Be Health & Safety conscious and actively involved in maintaining a safe work environment.
Actively participate in the hotel’s environmental program and department-specific initiatives, working toward sustainable operations.
Comply with hotel policies, procedures, and the code of ethics.
Perform any and all other tasks as assigned by management.
Uphold the highest standards of internal and external customer service at all times.
Work assigned shifts in other Food & Beverage departments as directed by Management.
One year of supervisory experience in a hotel restaurant or lounge (four-diamond hotel).
Two years of progressive experience in a high-volume hotel restaurant or lounge.
Must have thorough working knowledge of hotel food & beverage operations.
Good English communication skills
Proven leadership, motivational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Strong business acumen with an understanding of hotel financial reporting structures.
Excellent, proven food & beverage product knowledge is required.
Experience is an asset
Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus
