About the job
As an Appian Developer at Aspire, you will design, develop, and implement BPM-based solutions using the Appian Low-Code Platform. You will work closely with business and technical teams to deliver scalable, efficient, and high-quality applications that support digital transformation and optimize business processes.
What you’ll do- Design, develop, and deploy Appian applications, including process models, rules, reports, and user interfaces.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into functional Appian solutions.
- Implement Appian components such as plug-ins, Smart Services, and Records to enhance performance and usability.
- Integrate Appian applications with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and other integration methods.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
- Maintain and enhance existing Appian applications, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, providing ongoing technical support.
- Document application designs, configurations, and processes.
- Work closely with DevOps and QA teams to support CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
- Ensure adherence to Appian development best practices, version control standards, and security policies.
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with the Appian Low-Code Platform.
- Strong understanding of BPM concepts and process modeling.
- Experience developing Appian components such as process models, SAIL interfaces, rules, and records.
- Experience integrating Appian with external systems using REST and SOAP services.
- Familiarity with Appian plug-ins and Smart Services.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Awareness of security and compliance best practices.
- Awareness or knowledge of IT security best practices as defined by ISO/SOC or similar.
