International Card Services: International Card Services (ICS) brings together our International Consumer, Small Business Services (SBS), and Middle and Large-Market Corporate segments. ICS issues products in 27 countries and is responsible for two Joint Ventures – AMEX (Middle East) B.S.C. (c) and American Express Saudi Arabia. The leaders in these countries are empowered to make decisions at a local level, whilst being supported by two central cross-market teams – the Centre of Excellence, and Governance & Control.


About Role: Within the ICS - Corporate Acquisition division, the Sales Operations Intern plays a critical role in supporting commercial activities and directly contributing to business growth and new customer acquisition. The function acts as a bridge between strategy and execution, working closely with Sales teams to optimize processes, tools, and overall performance.


In this context, the role will support acquisition initiatives through data analysis, performance monitoring, and control activities, as well as the continuous improvement of operational processes. The candidate will be actively involved in tracking key performance indicators, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting the governance of commercial activities.


The position will also provide exposure to cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of sales initiatives, working with multiple internal stakeholders and gaining end-to-end visibility of the acquisition cycle. This experience represents a valuable opportunity to develop analytical, organizational, and project management skills within a dynamic and results-driven environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Prospect List Profiling: Assist in creating and maintaining lists for prospect eligibility, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
  • Performance Reporting: Help generate and analyze reports related to team performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
  • Presentation Preparation: Support the preparation of presentations for team and channel Business
  • Reviews, ensuring clear and impactful communication of key metrics and strategies
  • Event Sales Management: Assist in overseeing the presence of the sales team at events, coordinating logistics and ensuring effective representation
  • Escalation Management: Help coordinate and manage escalation cases related to Risk, Credit, and other issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution

Qualifications:
  • Current students graduating in 2026
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Interest in sales operations or a related field
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Proactive problem-solving skills
