About Role: Payback is a 100% owned American Express company and it is a multi-partner, global loyalty and engagement platform running its business in Italy since 2014. 


Payback Italy is looking for a university or master student in Economics, Marketing & Sales for an internship in our Business Development team. 


Working closely with the Payback Business Development Managers to support in the Prospect Partners’ Relationships development. Acting as an operational extension of the Team in the management of sales processes and activities, in document preparation for sales pitches with different prospect from different industries, in collecting and analyzing data to prepare business case and in assisting in administrative activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the Business Development Team in the preparation of sales meeting with retail prospect coming from different industries
  • Create and/or update Power Points and Excel documentation needed for sales pitches
  • Contribute to specific projects on an ad hoc basis, work with cross-functional
  • CRM / Marketing / Services teams to help the sales process
  • Contribute in a proficient way in the alignment and relationship with the central German Team
  • Support in analysis and benchmarking for Italian retail industries 
     

Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Economics or Marketing 
  • Understanding of sales and creative mindset 
  • Good knowledge of Office tools (in particular Excel and PPT)
  • Flexibility in dealing with multiple tasks and projects 
  • Ability to push and drive projects forward with autonomy 
  • Ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholder 
  • Excellent communications and presentation skills
  • Fluent in English both written and oral
  • Strong motivation with good interpersonal skills and teamwork attitude

  • Duration: 6 months internship + with potential 6 months renewal
  • Hours: 39 hours per week
