International Card Services: International Card Services (ICS) brings together our International Consumer, Small Business Services (SBS), and Middle and Large-Market Corporate segments. ICS issues products in 27 countries and is responsible for two Joint Ventures – AMEX (Middle East) B.S.C. (c) and American Express Saudi Arabia. About Role: AMEX is seeking a Digital Marketing Intern in our Milan office. We are searching for a student interested in Media, Online Advertising and Digital Customer Marketing who would like to work alongside our Interactive Team. This is a paid internship opportunity that will provide the intern with an excellent, hands-on introduction to a thriving, high-growth, entrepreneurial environment.


An intern will be offered an opportunity to be involved in meaningful work / projects, be exposed to daily team tasks such as media planning and monitoring, internal communication plan development, alignment meetings and cross team / function appointments. The intern will be introduced to useful tools and resources that will help the intern grow both professionally and personally.


The intern will be involved in projects that include supporting the Interactive Team to reach prospects (both internal and external to the organization) to convert in leads, the Intern will work to coordinate the external partners (media agency, creative agency, and key media players) and analyze performance data to improve results and achieve the monthly targets. The intern also can support the creation of new and innovative projects with the aim to expand the communication mix.

Responsibilities:
  • Set / implement acquisition campaigns (both on external and internal audiences)
  • Coordinate feedback to creative agencies and internal stakeholders
  • Analyze reporting to identify and recommended improvements to digital acquisition
  • Execute insights & prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Manage third party agencies with a daily relationship to improve results
  • Monitor digital metrics and KPIs with pre- and post-campaign analysis 

Qualifications:
  • Current undergraduate or graduate students and recent college graduates are encouraged to apply (Marketing/Digital Marketing/Business Management)
  • Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good level of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Team working
  • You’re able to remain calm under pressure, think on your feet and proactively solve problems
  • Self-starting, innovative thinker who can provide team with suggestions and recommendations for process improvement; a go-getter Internet research and social media skills
