About Role: AMEX is seeking a Business Analyst Intern in our Rome office. We are searching for a recently graduated analyst interested in Payment Industry and Data Analytics, who would like to work alongside our Merchant Acquisition Team. This is a paid internship opportunity that will provide the intern with an excellent, hands-on introduction to a thriving, high-growth, entrepreneurial environment.


The Intern will play an important role in the Merchant Acquisition Team. Interns will be offered an opportunity to be involved in meaningful projects, especially in Acquisition Strategy for External Sales Agencies (ESA) Channel. The intern will also support the channel through data and control framework.

Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the analysis of Acquisition KPIs to identify improvements to acquisition activities
  • Keep Monitoring Acquisition results supporting the End-to-End Process
  • Relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Implementation and rollouts of Acquisition Reporting
  • Use of Analytical and reporting Tools
  • Deep understanding of Acquisition Strategies
  • Launch of a new project and identification of KPIs metric performance 

Qualifications:
  • Current graduate students are encouraged to apply
  • University degree in Economics, Engineering or Marketing & Communication
  • Organizational skills and Proactively problem solving
  • Self-starting, innovative thinker who can provide team with suggestions and recommendations for process improvement
  • Strong Microsoft Office Knowledge (Excel & PPT)
