Overview **This position will be physically located in Iraq in support of LOGCAP** Under supervision of the Security Supervisor, the Security Administrator will perform security training and enforce security policies within the Area of Responsibility (AOR). Responsible for ensuring security programs are up-to-date and distributed to the program within the operating locations. Be able to enable the ISOPREP requirements and develop and oversee implementation of the Program’s NEO plan. Must have a thorough working knowledge of the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS), and be capable of learning the Computerized Operations Police Suite (COPS) and the Defense Biometrics Intrusion Detection System (DBIDS). The Security Administrator must also serve to some participation in Force Protection exercises and meetings, site surveys, security assessments and other personnel security measures as required. Qualifications + Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required. + High school diploma or equivalent. Must provide a copy of the diploma. + Must be able to obtain a CAC. + Must be a U.S. Citizen + Must be able to obtain a Driver’s License. + Must possess or have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance (Tier 3). + Capable of effectively communicating technical information in English, both written and verbally. + Experience: + Minimum of three (3) years experience in Security with a working knowledge of computer security, physical security, industrial security, personnel protection and physical protection. + Must have a thorough working knowledge of the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS), and be capable of learning the Computerized Operations Police Suite (COPS) and the Defense Biometrics Intrusion Detection System (DBIDS) + Skills: + Be able to enable the ISOPREP requirements and develop and oversee implementation of the Program’s NEO plan. + Collaborative work style fostering cooperation and teamwork. + Prioritize responsibilities to handle a demanding workload + Ability to work under pressure + Working Conditions: + Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit. + Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, duty, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months). + Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well. + Physical Requirements: + Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. + Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents. + Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices. + Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
