Mechanical Engineer


Reporting to: Lead Mechanical Engineer


Responsibilities:


This position is directly responsible for the supervision, co-ordination and record keeping of all maintenance related activities on the plant site.


Duties:


 Controls all maintenance documents as outlined on the site Master List of Controlled Documents.


 To assigns preventive and corrective maintenance jobs to maintenance technicians as per the direction of Maintenance Manager.


 To develop, supervises and co-ordinate plant maintenance activities.


 To plan and inspect completed work on plant device.


 To maintain records, prepare reports and compose correspondence relative to work.


 To acquire considerable knowledge of the process and the relevant mechanical, instrument & control and electrical system throughout the plant and apply the same to trouble shoot problems and leads the maintenance team in resolving the issue.


 To train the subordinates on preventive and corrective maintenance.


 To communicate effectively with others, both verbally and in writing.



Qualifications

Education and/or Experience


BSc Engineering Mechanical from a recognized University with 5-7 years’ experience in similar capacity at combined cycle power plant preferably having GE F Class Technology.


 Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.


 Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.


 Ability to speak effectively to employees of the organization.
