Mechanical Engineer / Inspector (Building Construction)

We are looking for experienced Mechanical Engineers / Inspectors with a strong background in building construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for inspecting mechanical works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and relevant standards.

• Conduct inspections of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire fighting systems
  
• Ensure all installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements
  
• Monitor site activities and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards
  
• Review mechanical shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents
  
• Inspect installation of ducts, piping, equipment, and fittings
  
• Witness testing and commissioning of HVAC and MEP systems
  
• Prepare inspection reports, checklists, and documentation
  
• Identify non-conformities and ensure timely corrective actions
  
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams for approvals
  

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in building construction projects
  
• Strong knowledge of mechanical inspection standards and procedures
  
• Experience in QA/QC and site inspection activities
  
• Familiarity with international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, BS, etc.)
  
• Good understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
  
• Strong reporting and communication skills
