Overview
Our client is a leading Large company in the field of Multiple Distribution, Services, and Contracting. We are seeking a strategic and seasoned Chief Financial Officer to oversee the financial health and growth of our diverse portfolio. Reporting directly to the CEO/Owner, you will be a key architect in the company’s expansion and financial stability.
Strategic Financial Leadership: Drive the financial planning and strategy for the group, ensuring alignment with long-term business goals across distribution and service sectors.
Subsidiary Oversight: Direct and mentor Finance Managers across multiple subsidiaries to ensure standardized financial practices and performance.
Financial Consolidation: Oversee the consolidation of complex financial statements across various business units in compliance with IFRS standards.
Reporting & Presentation: Develop high-level financial reports and deliver compelling presentations to the CEO and stakeholders regarding fiscal health and forecasts.
Banking & Relationship Management: Lead and maintain strategic relationships with local and international banks to secure financing and optimize capital structure.
Audit & Compliance: Ensure rigorous internal controls and manage external audit processes to maintain full regulatory compliance within Iraq.
Cash Flow & Risk Management: Monitor group-wide liquidity and implement risk mitigation strategies to protect assets in a volatile market.
Education: BA in Accounting or Finance; CMA/CPA or MBA is a strong advantage.
Experience: Minimum 15 years of progressive financial leadership experience.
Skills: Expertise in IFRS, financial modeling, and multi-sector consolidation.
Languages: Native-level fluency in Arabic and professional fluency in English.
Working Schedule: 6 days per week (with a flexible policy allowing one week of remote work per month).
Location: Baghdad, Iraq (Open to candidates applying from Inside or Outside Iraq).
