As the Business Administration Manager, you will oversee and coordinate the administrative, financial, and strategic operations of the Khormala power plant. Your role is pivotal in ensuring seamless commercial support across various departments, including operations, maintenance, procurement, finance, warehouse, and compliance. Additionally, you will play a critical role in managing budgets, preparing reports, administering contracts, and driving strategic initiatives to optimize plant performance and profitability. The BA manager is working alongside the station manager as a business partner to deliver O&M project on budget.



How You Will Make an Impact


  • Manage daily administrative tasks, ensure smooth coordination across departments (operations, maintenance, procurement, finance, HR), oversee procurement processes, and handle transportation, canteen, and camp operations.
  • Prepare and monitor budgets, track expenditures, analyze variances, and deliver financial reports while supporting cost control and financial planning efforts.
  • Administer service contracts, vendor agreements, and regulatory documentation while ensuring compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
  • Support strategic initiatives, prepare business reports, presentations, and dashboards, and assist in creating business cases for investments, upgrades, and operational improvements.
  • Lead and develop the business administration team (including procurement and warehouse staff), ensuring high performance and fostering professional growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align administrative processes with operational goals, driving a culture of accountability, efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement.

What You Bring


  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • At least 7 years of experience in business administration or operations support, ideally in the energy or industrial sector.
  • Familiarity with thermal power plant operations and regulatory frameworks is highly advantageous.
  • Proficient in ERP systems, financial reporting tools, and contract management platforms.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal abilities, and fluency in Kurdish/Arabic languages.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and business management software, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators.
