Scope:


  • Core responsibilities include handling day-to-day support tickets and working on enhancement requests with a primary focus on Workday Security and Compensation/Advanced Compensation.
  • As part of the ASIS team, this position will help drive the technical advancement of the Workday HCM solution by troubleshooting production issues, implementing best practices, and delivering secure, compliant enhancements across Workday functional domains.  Working on New security groups and domain security policies.  Need to work on advance compensation plans, Merits, and Bonus plans, etc.

What you’ll do:


  • Own day-to-day operations for Workday HCM with emphasis on Security administration and Compensation/Advanced Compensation support (incidents, service requests, minor to major enhancements).
  • Analyse and troubleshoot tenant issues related to security access, business process steps, and compensation events; perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Configure and maintain Workday Security: security groups, domain and business process security policies, role assignments, and user-based security with least-privilege principles.
  • Configure and support Compensation and Advanced Compensation: eligibility, plans, guidelines, budgets, worksheets, and approvals; support annual merit/bonus cycles and off-cycle compensation changes.
  • Ensure secure access to sensitive compensation data (worksheet access, manager hierarchy access, and segregation of duties); support access reviews and audit requests.
  • Partner with product/platform teams and the broader engineering team through the delivery lifecycle: requirements, design, configuration, testing (including security testing), deployment, and hyper-care.
  • Build and maintain reports/outputs supporting Security and Compensation needs (custom reports, RaaS, and calculated fields); support downstream consumption and integration troubleshooting as needed.

What we are looking for:


  • Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred) with 6 to 9 years of hands-on experience supporting and configuring Workday HCM.
  • Strong Workday Security experience (security groups, domain security, business process security policies, user-based security, and role-based access control).
  • Strong Compensation/Advanced Compensation experience supporting compensation programs and cycles (plans, eligibility, budgets, guidelines, worksheets, and approvals).
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot production issues, manage day-to-day support tickets, and deliver enhancements with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with reporting and data extracts (custom reports, calculated fields, RaaS); BIRT experience is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Benefits and at least one additional functional area (e.g., Talent, Recruiting, or Time and Absence) is preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills: ability to translate business requirements into secure, scalable Workday configurations and document solutions.
