About Company:
Founded in 1955 Company began as a modest passenger transportation company. However, in the 1970s, the family business lost its main contract. With the need to diversify the business, Owner roped in his eldest son, Group’s current Executive Chairman. An Ideal Candidate:
· Bachelor’s degree in supply chain / Logistics / Engineering / Business Administration. · 10+ years of experience in 3PL / supply chain / warehouse operations. · Minimum 5–7 years in senior leadership role managing multi-location warehouses.
Key Competencies:
1. Multi-Site Warehouse Operations Management & Project Implementation. · Oversee end-to-end warehouse functions: inbound, outbound, inventory control, dispatch, and value-added services. · Ensure SLA and KPI adherence across all customer accounts. · Implement standardized SOPs across locations. · Monitor productivity, turnaround time, and service quality metrics. 2. Client Relationship & Governance · Act as senior escalation point for key clients. · Conduct monthly/quarterly review meetings with customers. · Ensure compliance with contractual SLAs and operational commitments. · Maintain high customer satisfaction and retention levels. 3. Technology & Process Excellence · Oversee effective utilization of WMS and ERP platforms. · Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma). · Implement digital dashboards and MIS reporting for leadership review. · Lead process re-engineering and automation projects. 4. Inventory & Compliance Control · Ensure high inventory accuracy and zero stock variance. · Lead periodic cycle counts and statutory audits. · Ensure adherence to statutory compliance, labor laws, and EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards. · Maintain 5S and safety culture across all warehouse sites. 5. Team Leadership & Talent Development · Lead and mentor Warehouse Managers, Operations Managers, and support teams. · Drive manpower planning and productivity management. · Ensure performance management, training, and succession planning. · Build a culture of accountability, ownership, and operational excellence.
