Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a knowledgeable and adaptable VisionPlus Developer to support the development and enhancement of Visa’s VisionPlus platform. This role involves designing, coding, testing, and deploying solutions within a complex payment and card management environment. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and efficient solutions that meet business needs and ensure compliance with industry standards.


Software Requirements


  • Required:


    • Experience with Visa VisionPlus platform or similar card processing software


    • Proficiency in core development languages such as Java, .NET, or relevant scripting languages


    • Familiarity with SQL and relational database management systems


    • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and testing tools (JIRA, Confluence, GIT)


    • Understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA), web services, and APIs


  • Preferred:


    • Experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure (AWS, Azure)


    • Knowledge of security standards, encryption, and compliance (PCI DSS, ISO)


    • Exposure to newer UI frameworks or reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI)


Overall Responsibilities


  • Collaborate with business analysts and domain experts to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions.


  • Develop, test, and deploy enhancements to VisionPlus modules including card processing, customer management, and reporting functionalities.


  • Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and compliant with industry standards and regulatory requirements.


  • Conduct code reviews and facilitate continuous improvement of the codebase for maintainability and quality.


  • Support integration with external systems and APIs, ensuring data accuracy and security.


  • Participate in solution design discussions and ensure technological best practices are followed.


  • Document technical specifications, processes, and system configurations for ongoing maintenance and audits.

  • Develop and maintain VisionPlus modules according to business requirements

  • Troubleshoot issues, investigate root causes, and deploy fixes promptly


  • Support system integration and upgrades, ensuring minimal operational disruptions
