As a Vibration Analyst at Siemens Gamesa, you will focus on monitoring and analyzing vibration levels of wind turbine drivetrain components to ensure optimal performance and early detection of potential issues. Your day will involve working closely with vibration data from operating wind turbines, applying advanced analysis techniques, and collaborating with maintenance and engineering teams to support reliable and efficient turbine operations. Through your expertise in vibration analysis and condition monitoring, you will directly contribute to improving asset reliability and minimizing unplanned downtime across wind energy projects.


How You’ll Make an Impact


  • Conduct routine and ad-hoc vibration analysis on Siemens Gamesa wind turbines.
  • Monitor and analyze vibration data to identify abnormalities and potential issues in drivetrain components.
  • Utilize vibration analysis tools and software to interpret data and generate detailed technical reports.
  • Perform root cause analysis of vibration-related problems and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to implement solutions for identified vibration issues.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all vibration analysis activities and findings.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in vibration analysis and condition monitoring technologies and apply relevant improvements.

What You Bring


  • Certification in Vibration Analysis, with ISO CAT II level according to ISO 18436 preferred.
  • Proven experience in vibration analysis, preferably within the wind energy sector.
  • Strong understanding of vibration principles, signal processing, and vibration data interpretation.
  • Proficiency in vibration analysis tools and software such as SKF, Gram & Juhl, Bachmann, or similar systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct detailed root cause analysis.
  • Good English language skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • ISO CAT II certification or higher.
  • Experience working with Siemens Gamesa wind turbines.
  • Knowledge of additional condition monitoring techniques such as thermography and oil analysis.

Our team is responsible for end‑to‑end vibration diagnostics across different CMS tools, ensuring early detection and accurate analysis of mechanical issues in the wind turbine fleet. We manage and reduce diagnostic backlogs, give a preventive insight to Operation regarding possible disruptions in the drivetrain, troubleshoot data and system issues, and continuously improve models, configurations, and analysis criteria. Through structured training, knowledge‑sharing, and cross‑tool collaboration, we maintain high-quality diagnostic standards and support global operational reliability.
