About MBRDI:
Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India (MBRDI), headquartered in Bengaluru with a satellite office in Pune, is the largest R&D center for Mercedes-Benz Group AG outside of Germany. Key Responsibilities:
• Manage new product development activities of HVAC to meet quality, maturity, timeline, cost, and weight targets.
• Handle field issues related to HVAC components and systems.
• Coordinate with Packaging, Design, Simulation, Homologation, Sensor/Camera/Antenna departments, and other cross-functional teams.
• Own and coordinate test scopes, FMEA, sample parts, and project documentation.
• Steer multiple suppliers across the globe and drive the product/project management control plan.
• Support integration of Quality Management measures and approval processes for components.
• Create RFQ, component requirement specifications, and technical documents for cost determination and offer evaluation in cooperation with Purchasing.
• Manage the Engineering Change Management process and maintain documents in the relevant portal/folders.
• Manage customer needs while ensuring compliance with legal and special project requirements.
• Travel worldwide as required to meet hardware and vehicle build milestones.


Required Skills and Experience:
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Several years of experience in vehicle development, particularly in hose routing, assembly, functional parts, and seals.
• Sound knowledge of Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
• Experience in dealing with suppliers and development partners in the field of HVAC development.
• Strong coordination, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple suppliers, project timelines, technical documentation, and engineering change management activities.


Qualifikationen

Educational Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Additional certifications, if any: PMP, Quality Management, Six Sigma, or relevant automotive development certifications.


Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):
• German proficiency preferred.
• Experience in the MDS — Mercedes-Benz Development System — process preferred.
• Exposure to international projects and global supplier coordination.
• Experience working with Daimler/Mercedes-Benz systems, standards, and engineering processes.
• Knowledge of HVAC development processes, component validation, FMEA, and quality approval workflows.
