Job Description:

As a UX Designer with ESC D&AA function, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will work with a team of designers in creating digital products and experiences for the Digitization and Advanced Analytics team. The responsibilities for this impactful role include:

• Working within a cross-functional, international team focusing on creating and improving digital analytics tools used to drive corporate supply chain strategy.
• Pioneering new and innovative design concepts, to create novel and user-centered, reporting and data visualization for manufacturing and supply chain stakeholders and/or business leaders.
• Defining product experience through experience models, personas, storyboards, site maps, flow diagrams, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
• Synthesize data from many sources to identify key strategic product and service opportunities, create UX vision and strategic roadmaps that aligns with the overall business goals and objectives for new 3M innovation within.
• Defining and tracking UX metrics to measure the success of the UX strategy.
• Defining and advancing the Design System in collaboration with the broader UX/UI Design team and the corporate team. Supporting the creation of design system foundations, components, libraries and guidelines for scalability, efficiency, and consistency.
• Collaborating and supporting other design disciplines like UX research, UI Design, UX testing etc. to craft human-centered solutions that drive better outcomes.
• Advocating digital capabilities and the value of UX creation among various stakeholders within and outside of 3M, including executive leadership.
• Maintaining an advanced understanding of brand and 3M guidelines, ensuring precise application in every design or design-research project.
• Engaging in design and design research activities to acquire new skills and apply them effectively in the role.
