Role Summary:
TheMREF Developeris responsible for configuring, and developing IBM MREF solutions across Real Estate, Facilities, Space, Capital Projects, and Lease Management modules.
This role plays ahands-on function-owning complex customizations, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring high-quality, upgrade-safe TRIRIGA implementations.
The Senior Developer works closely with MREF Architects, Functional Consultants, and Integration teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
As an MREF Developer, you would be responsible for
MREF Configuration & Development
1. Develop MREF components including:
o Business Objects (BOs)
o Forms and sections
o Workflows
o Queries, Reports, and KPIs
o UX Framework navigation and layouts
2. Implement configuration-first andupgrade-safecustomization approaches.
3. Develop reusable objects and patterns aligned to architecture standards.
4. Perform end to end migrations from Tririga to MREF platform (cloud, on-prem)
Technical Leadership
1. Own and deliver complex MREF enhancements and customizations
2. Review and guide work produced by junior developers.
3. Ensure runbooks are built and kept current for Migrations
Integration & Data Handling
1. Build and support integrations
2. Support data migration and bulk data loads using
3. Collaborate with middleware teams for enterprise integrations (SAP, Oracle, Workday, etc.).
Performance, Security & Quality
1. Optimize workflows, queries, and reports for performance and scalability.
2. Implement role-based security, access controls, and data restrictions.
3. Ensure adherence to:
o Coding standards
o Performance best practices
o Security and compliance guidelines
4. Support UAT, defect resolution, and go-live activities.
Delivery & Collaboration
1. Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
2. Provide technical inputs for estimates, timelines, and risks.
3. Support production issues and continuous improvement initiatives.
Core MREF Expertise
1. 4+ years of experience in IBM MREF development.
2. Strong hands-on expertise in:
o Business Objects, Forms, Workflows
o Queries, Reports, KPIs
o UX Framework
3. Deep understanding of MREF data model and security framework.
Technical & Integration Skills
1. Experience with:
o REST / SOAP integrations
o OSLC
2. Strong SQL skills and understanding of MREF database structures.
3. Experience with data migration and DataConnect jobs
1. Hands-on technical expertise
2. Ownership and accountability
3. Team collaboration
4. Strong communication with functional and technical stakeholders
