Key job responsibilities
The CMT L&D team is seeking a Training Specialist to manage and develop scalable, innovative learning solutions for 4000+ employees in India. The responsibilities include but are not limited to designing learning content, short- and long-term learning strategies, building awareness of L&D program offerings, communicating program improvements and updates, conducting needs analysis, collaborating with stakeholders, and working with instructional designers and subject matter experts to develop or modify programs that impact our business. Building strong working relationships with stakeholders both face-to-face (or virtually) and across locations, the Training Specialist will continually dive deep to understand the learning needs, use data and insights into the business to identify learning methods, materials or technology that will enhance the learning experience.
A day in the life
• Coordinate and facilitate training programs and execute plans to close gaps in the developmental needs for individuals and groups.
• In partnership with instructional designers and L&D program managers, use data, anecdotes and stakeholder inputs to conduct needs analysis that identifies the key behaviors, knowledge, and capabilities our leaders need to develop.
• Create storyboards and eLearning content; utilize various software such as Articulate 360, Photoshop, video editing to design effective training content.
• Create internal dashboards and use them to report training progress and KPIs in daily and weekly leadership calls.
• Proactively drive change and continuous development; explore new learning solutions that support leaders to accelerate developing their knowledge and capabilities in pursuit of business outcomes and/or goals.
• Collect, analyze, and communicate learning program metrics to measure the performance and impact of programs.
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with written and verbal communication and presentation
- Experience working with and delivering training/information to Associates and TL level employees
- 4+ years of experience in a training role; designing and developing content, and measuring the effectiveness of learning programs
- Basic knowledge of learning frameworks (ADDIE, Bloom’s Taxonomy, Kirkpatrick's Model, etc.) and experience of working on design tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Storyline, Rise, etc.
- Experience managing multiple projects, prioritizing, planning, and managing time and willingness to work in different areas as required by training needs
- Previous experience as a trainer, prior training, teaching or presentation experience.
