We are seeking applications for the position of Traffic and Transport Engineer for Mumbai Coastal Road Project 

• Analyse and model traffic flow and transportation systems
• Design road layouts, intersections, and traffic control measures
• Develop and evaluate transportation plans, policies, and strategies
• Conduct traffic and travel surveys, including data collection and analysis
• Assess the impacts of new developments on transportation networks
• Prepare and review transportation studies and reports
• Recommend improvements for road safety and traffic efficiency
• Oversee installation and operation of traffic signals, signage, and road markings
• Use transport modeling software (e.g., VISSIM, SYNCHRO, TRANSYT)
• Coordinate with local authorities, stakeholders, and the public
• Ensure compliance with relevant transportation standards and regulations
• Advise on sustainable transport solutions and public transit systems
• Estimate project costs and prepare budgets
• Supervise fieldwork, site investigations, and implementation of transport schemes
• Prepare technical documentation and presentations for meetings

• Proficiency in traffic analysis and transport modeling software (e.g., VISSIM, SYNCHRO, TRANSYT, SIDRA)
• Solid understanding of traffic engineering principles and practices
• Knowledge of transportation planning and policy development
• Ability to conduct and interpret traffic and travel surveys
• Data analysis and statistical skills
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Familiarity with road safety standards and relevant regulations
• Report writing and technical documentation skills
• Project management and organizational abilities
