The National Sales Head, Tier 2 is responsible for defining and executing the growth strategy for Tier 2 markets across India, accelerating revenue, margin, and share expansion for all Diagnostics operating companies.


This position reports to the India Diagnostics Commercial Leader and is part of the India Diagnostics Commercial Organization located in Mumbai, India and will be an on‑site role.


In this role, you will have the opportunity to:


  • Drive sales revenue and margin expansion across Tier 2 cities for all Dx OpCos by optimizing portfolio mix, pricing strategy, and commercial execution.
  • Work closely with the Dx Operating companies to implement OpCo strategy and drive results.
  • Define and execute the Tier 2 market strategy including long-term and short-term growth plans.
  • Strengthen profitability of existing accounts through data-driven analysis.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Tier 2 commercial team.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to shape value propositions and support incremental revenue
  • Ensure CRM adoption to maintain accurate pipeline health, track customer interactions and support data driven commercial decisions

The essential requirements of the job include:


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a science discipline with significant exposure to India’s Healthcare & Diagnostics market
  • 15+ years of complex clinical sales experience in hospital or acute care segments, preferably diagnostics
  • Minimum 10 years of experience leading high-performing sales teams
  • Proven experience managing USD 60M+ revenue responsibility
  • Strong experience managing distributors, key accounts and Gov institutions, with proven commercial success across these customer groups
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement or continuous improvement methodologies, with proven ability to streamline commercial processes
  • Experience using CRM tools for pipeline management

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:


  • Strong track record of success in strategic business planning with increasing levels of responsibility
  • Experience working effectively within a matrixed global organization, collaborating across functions, geographies, and operating companies to drive aligned commercial outcomes
