Job Title:                    Testing and Validation/PS-CC/EACJob Location:            BGSW, ADU, BangaloreExperience:                6+ yearsQualification:            B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Dept. & Group:          Expected Level:        51 Job Description: Lead and execute validation test plans for electrical connectors and interconnect systems across development life cycles. Mechanical integrity (insertion/extraction force, retention force, durability) Electrical performance (contact resistance, insulation resistance, dielectric strength) Environmental robustness (vibration, thermal shock, salt spray, moisture ingress, etc.) Utilize industry standards such as (USCAR, IEC, ISO, JOEM) to validate product performance. Perform root cause analysis on test failures and work with cross-functional teams for corrective actions. Prepare detailed validation reports with data analysis, test observations, and compliance conclusions. Interface with test labs (internal/external) and manage equipment. Key Competencies & Expertise: Connector Technology Expertise: Deep knowledge of connector types (wire-to-wire, wire-to-board), materials, and failure modes. Testing Standards Proficiency: Proficient with testing standards, and related specifications. Hands-on Testing Skills: Skilled in using test equipment (multimeters, hipot testers, thermal chambers, vibration rigs, microscopes, etc.). Documentation & Reporting: Excellent technical writing for test plans, procedures, and results.Preferred skills: Work experience in connector industry / automotive domain is added advantage Knowledge in project management tools like MS project & other MS office tools. Proficient in English language Knowledge of CAD/CAE tools for fixture design and test setup planning.     Added Advantage:  Knowledge on Electrical Vehicles High Voltage connector is added advantage Experience in accredited test labs or leading product validation organizations is a plus.
