Summary:
The Oracle Utilities MDM Conversion Lead will be responsible for leading data conversion activities during implementation or upgrade of Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management (MDM). The role involves designing, planning, and executing end-to-end data migration from legacy systems to the MDM platform while ensuring data integrity, quality, and compliance with project timelines.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end data conversion and migration strategy for MDM implementation programs.
Analyze legacy meter data systems and define data mapping, transformation, and migration rules.
Design and develop conversion frameworks, ETL processes, and validation strategies.
Work closely with functional, technical, and business teams to ensure accurate data mapping.
Oversee data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities into the MDM system.
Conduct data quality analysis, reconciliation, and validation post conversion.
Manage multiple conversion cycles including mock conversions, system testing, and production migration.
Identify data issues, cleansing requirements, and remediation strategies.
Coordinate with infrastructure and technical teams for performance optimization during large data loads.
Provide leadership to conversion team members and offshore/onshore resources.
Ensure adherence to project timelines, governance standards, and documentation requirements.

Professional & Technical Skills:
Strong experience in data migration, conversion, and ETL processes.
Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, and database technologies (preferably Oracle Database).
Experience designing data mapping documents and conversion specifications.
Hands-on experience with large volume meter data migration.
Knowledge of utility industry data models (meter reads, service points, devices, usage data).
Experience managing mock conversions, data reconciliation, and validation processes.
Strong stakeholder communication and leadership skills

Additional Information:
8+ years of experience in Oracle Utilities implementations, with strong experience in Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management (MDM) and Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) (preferred)
- This position is based at our Mumbai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
