Job description

Join our dynamic team to innovate and drive technology advancements, contributing to significant business growth and client success.

As a Technical Project Manager III at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial & Investment Bank, you will act as a bridge between technical product teams and the broader business. You'll be responsible for "telling the story” of the product while managing the tactical steps required to bring enhancements to market. This often involves working within the Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) or Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) divisions. You’ll thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where your curiosity and passion for technology are valued and you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact, grow your career, and work with talented teams dedicated to transparent investing.

Job responsibilities

  • Assist in writing Agile user stories, grooming the product backlog, and preparing sprints for development teams.
  • Coordinate with Design, Engineering, and Data Analytics to ensure product features meet acceptance criteria and regulatory standards.
  • Gather customer feedback and analyze product metrics to identify gaps and suggest new features for the roadmap.
  • Review and certify new digital experiences to ensure they meet the intended design and functional requirements.
  • Develop clear, concise narratives for product launches, system enhancements, and strategic shifts.
  • Create high-quality presentations (PowerPoint), briefing documents, and speeches for senior leadership and C-suite executives.
  • Act as a liaison between the product team and external partners (Marketing, Legal, Compliance) to ensure consistent messaging.
  • Draft internal newsletters, intranet articles, and "go-to-market" toolkits that explain complex technical concepts in simple language.
  • Use data to measure the success of product launches and the effectiveness of communication strategies.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor products to provide actionable insights to the team.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in Product Management, Corporate Communications, or Project Management (ideally in Financial Services).

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, Jira, and Confluence. Proficiency in data visualization tools.

  • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills; ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
Bachelor’s degree in business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Tableau/Excel experience is often preferred
  • Knowledge of technology controls and compliance in financial services

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in global organizations

  • Ability to contribute new ideas to advance technology functions

  • Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external partners

  • Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and development
