Where is the work:


Monday to Thursday, work onsite with your colleagues. Fridays, choose your work location, balancing what your work requires.

In this role, you will work closely with cross‑functional engineering groups, gain exposure to advanced embedded technologies in truck and trailer HVAC controls, and contribute to impactful product development initiatives. What will you do:


  • In this leadership role, you will:


  • Lead and mentor a team of test engineers, fostering technical capability and career growth.


  • Define comprehensive test strategies, plans, and execution frameworks for embedded products.


  • Oversee the creation and review of test cases, ensuring alignment with feature requirements and system specifications.


  • Direct the development, maintenance, and enhancement of automation test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.


  • Guide the team in working with communication protocols such as CAN, MODBUS, RS‑232/485, automotive ethernet and other embedded interfaces.


  • Establish strong testing practices for defect reporting, tracking, and traceability within requirement and defect management tools.


  • Anticipate testing challenges, drive root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.


  • Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, ensuring clear communication and seamless integration of testing outcomes.


  • Conduct reviews of system designs, code implementations, and test artifacts to uphold quality standards.


  • Analyze system behavior and test results to recommend improvements in product design, test coverage, and validation processes.


  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives, automation expansion, and overall test maturity within the organization.


What you will bring:


  • 10+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong background in embedded systems and test strategy leadership.


  • Strong hands‑on background in embedded software testing with leadership or management experience.


  • Deep understanding of test methodologies, embedded workflows, and quality practices.


  • Experience with communication protocols such as CAN, RS‑232, or similar interfaces.


  • Proficiency in manual and automated testing for embedded systems.


  • Proficiency in Python or other programming languages used for automation and scripting.


  • Effective communication, presentation, and team‑leadership skills.


  • Experience working within Agile methodologies.


  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.


  • Proficiency with MS Office for documentation and reporting.
