At APTIV, we build automotive cybersecurity software that protects real vehicles, ECUs, and fleets against live, safety‑critical threats. Our engineers secure in‑vehicle networks, OTA updates, vehicle‑cloud communication, and EV platforms—systems where failure is not an option. You will own problems end‑to‑end, from security modeling under ISO 21434 to designing and shipping production‑grade solutions. Your Role


  • Work in International work hours (6:00 PM – 3:00 AM IST) supporting North America–based OEM projects


  • Develop cybersecurity software for ADAS, UX, and BCM modules


  • Execute software development activities as per ASPICE L2 (SWE1–SWE6)


  • Implement automotive cybersecurity processes compliant with ISO 21434


  • Analyze customer requirements and translate them into robust design and production‑ready code


  • Investigate, analyze, and resolve customer‑reported and internal issues


  • Prepare test specifications, test plans, and perform software testing


  • Perform software integration and validation activities


Your Background


Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:


Mandatory Experience / Skill Requisites
  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience in Cybersecurity, including:


    • HSM


    • Secure Boot


    • Secure Download


    • Secure Communication


    • Secure Debug


  • Strong experience in Automotive Cybersecurity


  • Proficient in Embedded C and Python


  • Experience developing and debugging on Renesas / NXP / Infineon / TI MCUs and MPUs


  • Hands‑on experience with tools such as:


    • Multi IDE


    • IAR Workbench


    • Code Composer Studio


    • Trace32


  • Experience working on AUTOSAR, Linux, QNX, or Android–based cybersecurity projects


Desirable Experience / Skills
  • Device driver implementation and debugging (UART, SPI, I2C, I2S)


  • Software integration experience in automotive systems


  • Experience with AUTOSAR Cybersecurity, including DaVinci Configurator and Developer


  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


  • Highly self‑motivated, proactive, and energetic team player
