Job TitleTechnical Lead – GitHub & DevOpsJob Description

Responsible for:
•    Lead the organization’s GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Cloud platform strategy and technical direction
•    Mentor engineers/admins and define best practices and governance
•    Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for GitHub platform and DevOps
•    Implement identity, access, and security models
•    Define and Enforce governance standards and policies (security, audit logging, and compliance)
•    Design automation using GitHub Actions and APIs (REST/GraphQL)
•    Design and enable integration models around GitHub enterprise and DevOps platform
•    Drive DevSecOps practices and CI/CD enablement
•    Support incident response workflows
•    Manage service operations, incidents, and RCA


Having the following skills and experience:
•    A bachelor’s or master’s degree with minimum 12 years of relevant work experience in GitHub Enterprise and DevOps Platform. 
•    Strong technical leadership and platform ownership with automation mindset
•    Deep expertise in GitHub administration and governance
•    Strong knowledge of access control, audit logging, and compliance
•    Scripting skills in Python / PowerShell / Bash (at least one advanced)
•    Experience with GitHub APIs and Actions
•    Ability to evaluate and onboard new platform capabilities (e.g., Copilot, GHAS)
•    Knowledge of CI/CD and DevSecOps practices
•    Experience in governance, risk, and compliance
•    Strong communication and stakeholder management
