What you’ll do:

The Technical Content Writer – Electrical is responsible for developing, maintaining, and continuously improving high-quality technical documentation for electrical products, systems, and processes. This role translates complex electrical engineering concepts into clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation for internal and external stakeholders. The position collaborates closely with engineers, product specialists, and business partners, while leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity, consistency, and quality of technical content.



 
"A. Documentation Development
Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation in alignment with organizational standards and guidelines.
Write, edit, and update process manuals, user manuals, training materials, white papers, technical reports, and other supporting documentation.
B. Content Creation and Translation
Translate complex electrical engineering concepts, product features, and system behavior into clear, accurate, and user-friendly content.
Ensure documentation supports both technical and non-technical audiences.
C. Collaboration and Information Validation
Collaborate closely with Product Specialists, engineers, and business partners to gather accurate and detailed technical information related to electrical products and systems.
Validate all technical content through reviews with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
D. AI-Assisted Content Development
Utilize AI tools to generate initial drafts, outlines, or content suggestions.
Review, refine, and enhance AI-generated content to ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency, and compliance with organizational standards.
E. Database and Knowledge Management
Develop and maintain structured databases of reference materials, including research data, usability studies, design specifications, and technical references.
Ensure documentation is version-controlled, traceable, and easily retrievable.
F. Quality Assurance and Compliance
Review and proofread documentation to ensure grammatical accuracy, technical correctness, consistency, and adherence to style and branding guidelines.
Ensure all documentation complies with organizational, legal, and quality standards.
G. Process Documentation and Improvement
Document current and future process states using Value Stream Mapping to support process understanding and improvement.
Apply standard work, error proofing, and application knowledge to drive continuous improvement in documentation processes.
H. Information Architecture
Research, create, and maintain information architecture templates that support scalability, reuse, and easy data migration.
Ensure alignment with organizational and legal requirements.
I. User Feedback and Content Evaluation
Analyze user feedback and AI-generated insights to understand user interactions with documentation.
Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement and implement innovative approaches to enhance content effectiveness.
J. Continuous Improvement and Best Practices
Evaluate existing documentation and implement best practices to improve quality, usability, and efficiency.
Contribute to the development and adherence of Quality Control processes for all documentation releases."



Qualifications:

Graduate in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics) or Graduate with relevant technical documentation experience in the electrical domain.
Minimum 3–6 years of experience in technical documentation, technical writing, or content development for electrical products, systems, or engineering-driven environments.



Skills:

1. Strong understanding of electrical products, systems, and engineering documentation.
2. Ability to read, interpret, and document technical drawings, specifications, and engineering data.
3. Experience developing user manuals, process documentation, training materials, and technical reports.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and documentation platforms such as SharePoint.
6. Experience using documentation tools and content management systems.
7. Working knowledge of AI-assisted content creation tools and best practices for responsible use.
8. Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail.
9. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
10. Experience working with technical authoring and documentation tools such as MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, Adobe RoboHelp, DITA XML, or other similar structured
