In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Technical Consultant for Cloud Security Services, you will implement, customize, and support cloud security solutions for clients. You will utilize your in-depth knowledge of multi-cloud security strategies, compliance, and cloud security posture management to deliver robust security environments. Your primary responsibilities will include: * Implement Cloud Security Solutions: Design and deploy cloud security solutions across multiple cloud platforms, including HyperScalers, Palo Alto Prisma services, IBM Cloud, and third-party providers. * Manage Cloud Security Posture: Fine-tune policies to enhance and maintain the multi-cloud security posture, ensuring compliance with regulations and reducing exposure to risks. * Provide Risk Insights: Effectively manage cloud security risks, providing insights to reduce and mitigate exposure, and ensuring compliance with regulations. * Maintain Cloud Security Environment: Ensure clients' security environments are robust and up-to-date, implementing and managing cloud security across multiple cloud platforms. * Support Cloud Security Services: Deliver customized cloud security solutions, utilizing knowledge of cloud infrastructure, deployment, and cloud workload protection.

Required technical and professional expertise

* Multi-Cloud Security Strategies: Exposure to designing and deploying cloud security solutions across multiple cloud platforms, including HyperScalers, Palo Alto Prisma services, IBM Cloud, and third-party providers. * Cloud Security Posture Management: Experience working with cloud security posture management tools and techniques to fine-tune policies and ensure compliance with regulations. * Cloud Infrastructure and Deployment: Exposure to implementing and managing cloud security across multiple cloud platforms, including cloud infrastructure, deployment, and cloud workload protection. * Cloud Security Risk Management: Experience working with cloud security risk management frameworks and tools to provide insights and reduce exposure to risks. * Cloud Native Controls and Services: Exposure to cloud native controls and services from HyperScalers, Palo Alto Prisma services, IBM Cloud, and third-party providers.

Preferred technical and professional experience

* Cloud Workload Protection: Exposure to implementing and managing cloud workload protection solutions across multiple cloud platforms, including HyperScalers, Palo Alto Prisma services, IBM Cloud, and third-party providers. * Third-Party Providers: Experience working with third-party cloud security providers, integrating their services into cloud security solutions. * Cloud Compliance Regulations: Exposure to ensuring compliance with cloud security regulations, utilizing knowledge of cloud security posture management and risk management frameworks.
