In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
As a Technical Consultant: Blue Team Operations, you will provide cross-disciplinary and cross-platform leadership of MSS service operations to achieve the client's security objectives and optimal technical outcomes. You will serve as a highly specialized extension of the client's security program to optimize the full spectrum of MSS service capabilities. Your primary responsibilities will include: * Analyze Operational Metrics: Analyze operational metrics and KPIs for risks, issues, and opportunities to recommend actions to advance the overall service and the client's security posture. * Optimize Service Capabilities: Optimize the full spectrum of MSS service capabilities, including threat insight, prevention, detection, response, and recovery, to achieve the client's security objectives. * Provide Specialized Expertise: Apply deep understanding in Security Incident & Event Management (SIEM) Security technologies, Endpoint Detection and Response technology, and threat protection to support the client's security program. * Recommend Actions: Recommend actions to advance the overall service and the client's security posture based on analysis of operational metrics and KPIs. * Support Client Security: Serve as a highly specialized extension of the client's security program to support their security objectives and optimal technical outcomes.
* Exposure to Security Technologies: Experience with Security Incident & Event Management (SIEM) Security technologies, Endpoint Detection and Response technology, and threat protection. * Understanding of Threat Protection: Experience with threat insight, prevention, detection, response, and recovery concepts and technologies. * Operational Metrics Analysis: Experience with analyzing operational metrics and KPIs for risks, issues, and opportunities. * MSS Service Capabilities: Experience with optimizing the full spectrum of MSS service capabilities to achieve security objectives. * Cross-Disciplinary Leadership: Experience working in a cross-disciplinary and cross-platform environment to achieve optimal technical outcomes.
* Advanced Threat Analysis: Exposure to advanced threat analysis and threat hunting concepts to enhance threat protection capabilities. * Security Program Optimization: Experience with optimizing security programs to achieve optimal technical outcomes and security objectives. * Cross-Platform Expertise: Exposure to multiple security platforms and technologies to support cross-disciplinary and cross-platform leadership.
