About the role

We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications/Network Engineer with extensive experience in routing protocols, network design, and customer support. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused attitude. This role involves working with global clients, designing and supporting complex network solutions, and contributing to pre-sales and implementation activities.



About you

Responsibilities:



  • Design, implement, and support routing protocols including RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP.
  • Manage and troubleshoot LAN/WAN networks, including VLAN, VTP, STP, HSRP, VRRP, and QoS.
  • Handle SDWAN solutions (Cisco & Fortinet) and ensure optimal network performance.
  • Provide technical support and pre-sales assistance to global customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for network design and deployment.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of OBS solutions and services.
  • Contribute to customer success through effective communication and technical expertise.
  • Support implementation and troubleshooting of Voice/IPT, Messaging, or Security solutions (beneficial).

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications:



  • B.Tech or equivalent in Telecommunications or IT.
  • CCNP certification preferred, CCNA/CCDP Mandatory.
  • Proven experience with BGP, OSPF, STP, VLAN, HSRP, VRRP.
  • Hands-on experience with LAN and WAN technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of routing and switching.
  • Experience working with global customers.
  • Excellent communication skills (spoken and written English).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good commercial acumen and customer-focused attitude.
