About your role:
At Fiserv, we are dedicated to transforming financial services technology to benefit our clients. As a Software Development Engineering - Sr Professional I, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with our business goals and client needs.




What You Will Do



  • Follow established delivery and development processes within the program.
  • Provide regular status updates and proactively raise risks, issues, and dependencies to the Tech Lead and management.
  • Take ownership and accountability for delivering assigned tasks and deliverables within agreed timelines.
  • Work hands-on, recommend solutions, and implement changes independently when needed.
  • Collaborate across engineering layers (mobile, APIs, back end, cloud) to ensure end-to-end integration and quality.
  • Contribute to a supportive team environment that helps remove political, bureaucratic, and resource barriers to execution.
  • What You Will Need to Have
  • 4 to 8 years of recent hands-on mobile development experience, with strong capability in Android and/or iOS.
  • Android: Kotlin (required) and Java (good to have), experience with Android SDK.
  • iOS: Swift and SwiftUI proficiency; experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data and Core Animation.
  • Strong understanding of the full mobile development life cycle, including development, testing, release, and maintenance.
  • Experience integrating mobile apps with back-end services using REST and JSON.
  • Experience with third-party libraries and API integrations.
  • Knowledge of offline storage, threading/concurrency, and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with platform UI standards (Apple Human Interface Guidelines; Android best practices).
  • Experience with push notifications (iOS and/or Android).
  • Proficiency with source control and code versioning tools.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines; iOS exposure to fastlane is a plus.
  • Familiarity with unit testing; knowledge of integration testing and BDD is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
  • Awareness of cloud-native application concepts; knowledge of cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and IaaS/PaaS/SaaS fundamentals.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

What Would Be Great to Have



  • Experience integrating with third-party applications and services.
  • Web SDK development experience (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript-based SDKs) will be a plus.
  • Agile delivery experience.
  • Understanding of configuration management practices.
  • Financial services experience, including Core Banking integration exposure.
  • Scripting experience (Batch, Bash); Python experience is a plus.
  • Experience in Web SDK development
