Summary:


  • Responsible for processing activities in the Wire Investigation group(s), including assisting the Team Leader/Manager in day-to-day operations. Acts as a subject matter expert and supports the team in understanding process-related concepts. Ensures that day-to-day process deliverables are met.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Handle complex Wire Investigations for sensitive clients


  • Review, analyze, investigate and resolve any query related to incoming and outgoing Wire transactions.


  • Responsible for supervising a process within the Wire Investigation Team.  This would include assisting the TL/Section Manager in managing the process


  • Individual should be analytically and procedurally competent, functioning independently, with the ability to work in a close group and coordinate with various partner areas to research and resolve the queries within the defined business timeline.


  • Demonstrate deep understanding of FED, SWIFT and cross border payments


  • Develop and maintain specific subject expertise in the product and process


  • Ability to identify error or risk prone areas & build robust controls to mitigate the same


  • Ability to handle, escalate (wherever required) & resolve issues in a timely manner.


  • Raise issues in a clear structured manner and ensure potential issues are flagged to Line Manager at the earliest opportunity


  • Ensures Day to day SLA & Quality parameters are met. Checklists are verified regularly in timely manner


  • To actively be involved in creating/ capturing process updates/ workflows pertaining to business & process


  • Conduct root cause analysis of errors and implement corrective controls


  • Provide training to new joiners and existing team members


  • Create, update & maintain training documentation (including process diagrams) & procedure notes relevant to role where required


  • To actively participate in internal/external audits, BCP exercises, and quality checks


  • Flexible for stretch assignments and shift timings


  • As required by Team Manager, take ownership for specific projects, corporate or team specific.


SKILLS / EXPERIENCE


Essential


  • SME in current role


  • Possessing a deep and detailed understanding of payments systems and well verse with SWIFT, FED, CHIPS, CHAPS, MT/MX Messages etc.


  • Proficient in MS Office


  • Excellent problem solving skills with ability to consider potential downstream impacts


  • Excellent communication skills, both to Internal & External Clients


  • Good attention to detail


  • Well organized with ability to own multiple tasks


  • Ability to identify potential risk issues while undertaking all aspects of work



Experience/ Eligibility


  • 24 months as a Senior Analyst to move as a Technical Coordinator​


  • MovementwithinTCandAssociateConsultantwillbe12months


  • Should be open to working in the night shifts.
