Teacher – Mathematics – High School - Key Responsibilities



  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum framework.
  • Foster foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking through age-appropriate teaching strategies.
  • Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment that supports active participation.
  • Regularly assess student progress, maintain records, and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Address varied learning needs by adapting teaching methods and resources.
  • Maintain open, professional communication with parents regarding student progress and well-being.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, coordinators, and school leadership to enhance teaching practices and learning outcomes.
  • Participate in training, workshops, and continuous professional development opportunities.
  • Support the holistic development of students by fostering values, social skills, and emotional well-being.
  • Maintain lesson plans, student records, and contribute to school events and activities

Skills, Qualifications and Experience



  • Master’s degree in mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or a related discipline from a recognized university.
  • B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred)
  • Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience at the high school level
  • Proven track record of academic excellence and student performance in board or competitive examinations.
  •  Proficiency in using digital tools and learning management systems for lesson delivery and assessment.
  • Strong command over Mathematical concepts, problem-solving techniques, and logical reasoning.
  • Ability to teach higher order topics
  • Excellent classroom management and instructional planning skills.
  • Ability to design and implement differentiated learning strategies to meet varied student needs.
