As a Back-End Developer for IBM Z, you will design, develop, unit test, and deliver offerings for IBM Z, such as z/OS, zTPF, zVM, and zVSE using agile practices and DevOps tooling. You will work in a collaborative environment to understand requirements, design, code, debug, and test creative solutions to client problems and requirements. Your primary responsibilities will include: * Design and Develop Solutions: Design, develop, and unit test offerings for IBM Z, utilizing programming languages such as HLASM/Assembler, Java, and C/C++ to deliver high-quality solutions. * Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work collaboratively to understand client requirements, design, code, debug, and test creative solutions to client problems and requirements, ensuring world-class quality and resiliency. * Ensure Solution Quality: Ensure solutions meet world-class quality and resiliency standards, supporting strategic imperatives including artificial intelligence and cloud. * Mainframe Storage and Database Management: Work with mainframe storage solutions and database technologies, including IMS, DB2, and z/OS security features such as RACF, SSL, SSO, and Multi-Factor Authentication. * Agile Practices and DevOps Tooling: Utilize agile practices and DevOps tooling to deliver solutions efficiently and effectively.
* Programming Languages Expertise: Experience with programming languages such as HLASM/Assembler, Java, and C/C++ to design, develop, and unit test offerings for IBM Z.
* Mainframe Technologies Knowledge: Experience working with z/OS, zTPF, zVM, and zVSE, including subsystems such as CICS, IMS, and MVS.
* Agile and DevOps Practices: Experience with agile practices and DevOps tooling to deliver solutions efficiently and effectively.
* Storage and Database Management: Experience with mainframe storage solutions and database technologies, including IMS, DB2, and z/OS security features such as RACF, SSL, SSO, and Multi-Factor Authentication.
* Solution Quality Assurance: Experience ensuring world-class quality and resiliency in solutions, supporting strategic imperatives including artificial intelligence and cloud.
* Cloud Development Knowledge: Experience with cloud development and strategic imperatives, including artificial intelligence. Familiarity with designing and delivering cloud-based solutions for IBM Z. Understanding of cloud security and compliance requirements.
* Artificial Intelligence Familiarity: Experience with artificial intelligence concepts and technologies, including machine learning and natural language processing. Ability to integrate AI capabilities into IBM Z solutions.
* Mainframe Security Expertise: Experience with z/OS security features, including RACF, SSL, SSO, and Multi-Factor Authentication. Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements for mainframe systems.
