Job Title: Syndigo PIM Developer




Role Summary




The Syndigo PIM Developer is responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting Product Information Management (PIM) solutions on the Syndigo platform. This role ensures accurate product data onboarding, enrichment, validation, and syndication across downstream systems such as ERP, eCommerce, GDSN, MDM, and analytics platforms. The role supports Syndigo migration initiatives, ongoing enhancements, integrations, and production support.




Technical Skills:



  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer or Software Engineer role
  • Experience using the following software/tools:
    • Experience with “Riversand MDM or PIM
    • Experience with Data model, Business Rules, Business Condition
    • Good working knowledge on REST based API’s and SOA architecture
    • Extensive knowledge on JSON/ Core Java programming
    • Experience working with stream-processing systems: Azure blob storage or Azure EventHub
  • Advanced SQL coding, Stored Procedures, optimizing and tunning queries on Snowflake and/or other large databases.
  • Creative problem solver and be able to jungle between multiple priorities

Key Responsibilities



Syndigo PIM Configuration & Development



  • Configure product data models, attributes, hierarchies, relationships, and classifications in Syndigo PIM.
  • Implement business rules, validations, and conditional logic to ensure product data completeness and accuracy using Syndigo’ s validation capabilities
  • Design and configure workflows for product onboarding, enrichment, approvals, and publishing.
  • Manage user roles, access controls, and governance rules within the Syndigo platform

Integrations & Data Syndication



  • Build and support inbound and outbound integrations between Syndigo PIM and:
    • ERP systems
    • MDM platforms
    • GDSN / customer syndication channels
    • Downstream systems (eCommerce, MAP, ODS, Snowflake)
  • Configure imports, exports, feeds, and scheduling for product data distribution.
  • Validate data published from Syndigo using export history, task summaries, and audit logs.
