Join our colleagues in bringing our Mission to life every single day to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. We provide our global teams with the resources needed to achieve individual career goals while helping to take science a step beyond by developing solutions for some of the world’s toughest challenges, like protecting the environment, making sure our food is safe or helping find cures for cancer.

Position Summary

At Thermo Fisher Scientific, our mission is to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. The IntegratedBusinessPlanning (IBP) Program Analyst plays a critical role in advancing this mission by driving operational rigor, process governance, and cross-functional coordination across the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning / Execution (SIOP/SIOE) processes.

This role is designed for a highly organized and analytical professional who thrives in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and enjoys connecting business processes, planning data, and cross-functional teams to drive aligned decision-making and execution excellence. You will partner across Supply Chain, Operations, Commercial, Finance, Product Management, and Technology teams to ensure SIOP/SIOE processes are executed consistently, decisions are documented clearly, and risks are proactively identified and managed.

As a key enabler of operational excellence, you will help strengthen process discipline, improve visibility to business performance, support planning analytics, and drive continuous improvement initiatives through Thermo Fisher’s Practical Process Improvement (PPI) business system while exemplifying our 4i Values: Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement.

What You Will Do

SIOP/SIOE Program Management & Governance

  • Maintain and improve SIOP/SIOE process documentation including process maps, standard work, RACIs, governance routines, and planning cadences

  • Coordinate cross-functional planning activities, decision points, and action tracking across the SIOP/SIOE cadence

  • Maintain governance mechanisms including action tracking, decision logs, risks, escalations, and milestone management

  • Support preparation for executive SIOP/SIOE reviews through development of planning summaries, metrics, risks, and action tracking

Planning Analytics & Business Support

  • Support scenario analysis and pressure testing of demand, supply, and inventory plans against business targets, inventory objectives, and operational constraints

  • Analyze planning and execution data to identify risks, gaps, trends, and improvement opportunities across the supply chain

  • Develop reporting and analytics to improve visibility into operational performance, inventory, service, and execution metrics

  • Partner with stakeholders to support scenario analysis and data-driven decision-making activities

Data Quality & Digitalization

  • Support data quality management across planning systems, reporting tools, and master data processes

  • Partner with business and technology teams to identify and resolve data integrity issues impacting planning effectiveness

  • Support development and enhancement of Power BI dashboards, reporting tools, and analytics capabilities

  • Assist with planning system improvements, digitalization initiatives, and process automation opportunities

Cross-Functional Coordination & Continuous Improvement

  • Partner across Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Commercial, Product Management, and IT teams to drive alignment and execution

  • Facilitate effective communication of planning assumptions, risks, actions, and decisions across stakeholders

  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and improve SIOP/SIOE and supply chain processes using PPI methodologies

  • Support operational reviews and business reporting with clear, actionable insights

Leadership Expectations (4i Values in Action)

  • Integrity – Build trust through transparent communication, data-driven decisions, and consistent follow-through on commitments

  • Intensity – Bring urgency and focus to resolving operational challenges and delivering results in a fast-paced environment

  • Innovation – Challenge the status quo by identifying new ways to improve processes, analytics, and execution

  • Involvement – Foster strong cross-functional collaboration, engaging the right stakeholders to drive aligned outcomes

How You Will Get Here

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Analytics, Engineering, or related field

Experience

  • 3–5+ years of experience in supply chain, planning, operations, analytics, program management, or related fields

  • Experience supporting SIOP/SIOE processes, supply chain analytics, or operational planning activities preferred

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actions

  • Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools (e.g., SAP, Power BI, Excel, Kinaxis, dashboards, etc.)

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders within a matrixed organization

Why This Role

This is a high-visibility role for a highly analytical and process-oriented professional who wants to help build and mature scalable integrated planning and operational planning capabilities within a global organization. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Help establish standardized governance, planning discipline, and business integration processes across functions

  • Strengthen and standardize SIOP/SIOE and supply chain planning processes

  • Drive improved visibility, governance, and execution discipline across the organization

  • Support strategic decision-making through analytics and operational insights

  • Partner with leaders across Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Commercial, and Technology teams

  • Expand your expertise in supply chain planning, analytics, digitalization, and continuous improvement within a world-class organization
