Bring your energy to Aggreko as Supplier Development Engineer. The role supports Aggreko's supply chain quality and development. This role assures effective supplier onboarding, manages performance (quality, cost, delivery, reliability), and minimizes supply chain risks through collaborative efforts.

What you’ll do:
Support Supplier On-boarding & Audits: Facilitate the selection of suitable suppliers, contribute to audits, and manage risks during the on-boarding process.
Enhance Supplier Performance: Drive continuous improvement in supplier quality, delivery, and overall performance for assigned commodity areas.
Monitor & Develop Product Quality: Oversee the quality of supplied products and services, ensuring they meet Aggreko's expectations and standards.
Analyze & Mitigate Supply Chain Risks: Collect and analyse supplier quality data to identify risks and coordinate improvement actions to reduce them.
Manage New Product & Change Control: Support the successful onboarding of new products (NPI/NPD) and manage change control activities, including PPAP and product approvals.
Address Non-Conformance: Proactively work with suppliers to correct, contain, and improve instances of product failure and non-conformance.
You are:
Education & Certification: Higher education in Engineering or Quality Management, coupled with ISO 9001:2015 Auditor certification (Lead Auditor preferred).
Supplier Quality Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience in supplier quality assurance, including performing supplier audits and working within a high-value capital equipment manufacturing environment.
Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated skills in supplier management, on-boarding processes, advanced quality planning, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and standards.
Data Analysis & Improvement: Capable of collecting and analyzing quality-related data to assess operations, coordinate process improvements, and manage problems effectively using recognized techniques.
Quality System Knowledge: Excellent working knowledge of ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 standards, manufacturing processes, value engineering, and lean systems management techniques.
Interpersonal & Communication Skills: Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, capable of working independently, solving problems, and contributing as a team player.
